Buggy 2 in 1 - Which Type is Right For You?
A buggy 2 in 1 offers you the freedom to move from urban strolling to offroading - and many other options that make life with a child a whole lot smoother! But which type to choose?
Modular seats are not part of the frame and can be adjusted to face forward or backwards based on the age of your child. parent or a child. The majority of them recline.
Full Size
Our go(tm), inline(r), version of buggy 2-in-1 is perfect for newborns straight out of the box. It comes with infinite recline settings for nap time & a fully lie flat bed. The seat is cushioned and placed in the best position to evenly distribute weight and maintain a stable centre of gravity, allowing you to bounce across any kerbs. It folds easily and fits into the boot of your car. And when your kids want to ride their own way it easily converts into an easy go(tm) single.
Umbrella
There are a variety of umbrella buggy 2 in 1 options available. When compared to the rest of our selection, they are typically smaller and lighter when folded. Our favorite models are the Mountain Buggy Nano Duo and the Delta Children LX side by side. Both are stylish and sleek and offer some of our most spacious storage spaces. They also have reclined seats and leg rests. They're missing a few features we consider essential in a stroller that is full size.
3-Wheel

A 3-wheeler is the best option for all-terrain adventures, particularly in offroad conditions. They're usually bigger than a standard buggy and have larger tyres, providing greater grip, handling and stability for those tough adventures. They are able to change direction at a single click and are simple to steer with just one hand.
A 3-wheel buggy can be used from the beginning (if using a car seat adapter) or when your child is older and no longer needs to be in a seat. They are ideal for quick trips around town or if you require a vehicle capable of handling more rough terrain during your walks.
They can be a little heavier than an umbrella buggy however, this is usually due to the fact that they have more features and are designed for more abrasive use and will withstand a bit more abuse. The seat can fold in a way, unlike some umbrella buggies. This is a great option if your child is unable to sleep while you're out and about.
Fabric slings are mounted within the frame, rather than on top, like modulars. This results in a lower centre of gravity as well as better weight distribution. This makes it easier to push, less prone to kerb pop (no need to put excessive force on the handlebars to lift the nose above an icy kerb) and, in general, an easier ride for your kid(s).
Our top picks include the Red Dot award winning duet(tm) - an all-terrain saviour that delivers modularity from day 1 with endless seating options for twins or siblings and an incredibly stunning design that features melange & texturous fabrics & tailored appeal. You can also choose voyager(tm) - the only true 2-in-1 inline buggy available that gives you flexibility and an entire range of options to choose from as it's all built on the iconic sport(tm) platform!
